On March 13, 2005 in a pool side ceremony at Short Course JOs in Bakersfield, CCS awarded the Fran Porter Lifetime Achievement award to the third recipient. He has contributed uncounted hours as an official and by holding many offices and chairs for CCS. Among the various positions he has held, he has been the Adminisistrative Vice-Chairman, the Records/Top 16 Chairman, Officials Chairman and the Awards Chairman.
