2010 Membership Registrations

The 2010 registration period began on September 1st. Year round registrations submitted now are valid thru 12/31/2010. Seasonal athlete memberships are also offered. The seasons are as follows:

• Season 1 - 11/1/2009 thru 3/30/2010
• Season 2 - 4/4/2010 thru 8/31/2010

Club registrations are a bit more involved this year. First, there is some new required information about the club that is being called for (organizational affiliation, ownership and tax status). Second, USA Swimming is providing a new feature on the USA Swimming website called Find-A-Club. This feature will allow the user to enter a city or zip code and a radius and the site will display a map with all the clubs and facilities in the defined areas where clubs exist. As a result, additional information is needed from the clubs to make this an effective feature. That information is:

• Contact person (this can be a person completely separate from the primary club contact person)
• For each location, a description of the facilities:
  • Facility Address
  • Pool information (number of pools, dimensions, # of lanes)

2010 registration fees are as follows:

• Year round athlete - $61
• Seasonal athlete - $41
• Individual non-athlete - $61
• Family non-athlete (2 non-athletes with same address) - $105
• New Clubs - $100
• Club Renewals - $100 (before December 1)
• Club Renewals - $125 (During the month of December)
• Club Renewals - $150 (after December 31)
• Member Transfers - $5

The 2010 registrations forms are are now available. Select the Forms option on The Dry Side drop down menu. The club registation form has a Word version available that can be completed and emailed to CCS.
